Crafting Dreams in Game Development

I am Kai Harnett, an aspiring game developer and animator. I'm a Texas transplant from Southern California. I graduated from Rock Hill High School in May of 2023. I am currently studying animation and game art at Collin County College. My hobbies include making games, animating, modeling, hanging out with friends, and of course playing video games. I am also interested in hockey and used to play before high school. I get my inspiration for unique storytelling and quality animation from shows like Andor, Snow Piercer, Silo, Avatar: The Last Airbender and many more.

Humor, creativity, and honesty are strong principles that guide me. Some of my role models include my father because he showed me the importance of providing emotional support to others in need. Another role model for me is actor, vlogger, and songwriter Jack Black. He serves as an example of how you can always enjoy your hobbies even if they are not your primary career. Jack Black's success as an actor and popular songwriter, along with his ability to incorporate humor into his life, brightens the spaces around him. And lastly, Valve CEO and Game Designer, Gabe Newell, because he respects the Game Design industry and also for his dedication to quality. I also respect his openness to creativity and innovation, as well as, new ideas.
